An Outdoor Kitchen to Fall in Love With: Norma by Rodolfo Dordoni
For their first project exploring the world of cooking, Italian design house RODA combined the technical know-how of Ilve, a manufacturer of professional kitchens for residential use, with the creativity of Rodolfo Dordoni, one of the most famous names in Made in Italy design. The result is Norma, a modular outdoor kitchen designed “with a truly Italian essence, exalting our passion for cooking and combining it with the practicality and quality of good design.”
Sleek and compact, Norma delivers sizzling style and superior performance. The modular units fit in any space and keep their good looks in all kinds of weather, thanks to special finishes and materials made for the outdoors.
Featuring the distinctive RODA Smoke color, Norma consists of a freestanding island with sink, a cooking unit, and an extension that provides additional preparation space and can be extended to serve as a suspended counter for dining.
The stainless steel sink, with doors available in contrasting Rust or Milk, fits into the textured Laptitec® top. An optional fridge is available which fits into the space below, as well as larch-wood cutting boards which fit perfectly on the worktop.
The gas cooker unit features triple crown and five gas burners. The feet can be fixed or on wheels, allowing it to be moved under the peninsula countertop. The space below the gas burner has larch-wood shelves and a practical utensil rack to keep everything you need close to hand.
