Bright & Beautiful: Introducing Paola Lenti at Casa Design

Thoroughly modern and utterly unique, Paolo Lenti designs are more than just home furnishings, they are part of “real domestic landscapes, essential, balanced, between experimentation and research, tradition and technology.” From their start making rugs, the company has established an international reputation as passionate artisans working with only the highest quality materials, to create harmony between colors, signs, and shapes. Experimenting year after year with new yarns and fabrics, Paola Lenti has expanded to offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor collections that have won acclaim in their native Italy and around the world. The following are some of their most iconic looks.

Nido Armchair by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto

Designed for the outdoors, but perfectly at home in any space, Nido’s hand woven, rope cord upholstery cover adds a warm artisanal touch to the simple stainless-steel frame. Four custom cushions, with removable covers, add comfort and style.

Sabi Modular Sofa by Francesco Rota

Designed to showcase the beauty of the natural, iroko- wood base and hand-woven upholstery, Sabi’s informal yet inviting shape brings a touch of casual luxury to the outdoors. With various configurations available, Sabi suits any space, regardless of shape or size.

Ami Armchair by Francesco Rota

A truly groundbreaking design in outdoor furnishings, Ami features a woven seat back with a terry cloth cushion, creating a seat that is at once highly tactile and visually striking. Proof of Paolo Lenti’s continued commitment to researching and developing new materials, Ami brings true luxury to the great outdoors.

Wabi Suspended Seats by Francesco Rota

Made from Sassafras wood, with a hand-woven structural cover, this beautiful collection includes a sofa, armchair and lawn-swing, all combining comfort, simplicity, and functionality.

Sciara Console Table by Marella Ferrera

A feast for the senses, Sciara features a structure made of Delabré finished stainless steel with a top consisting of square tiles of lava stone, cut by hand and decorated with melted glass. Each tile is a unique piece, carefully selected based on the color hues created during the melting process.

Sciara Side Table by Marella Ferrera

Add some sparkle and color to your outdoor spaces with these dazzling side tables featuring lava stone tops, embellished with glass décor as a single element or composition of elements.

Nido Rope Cord Poufs by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto

Designed to complement the Nido chair, these colorful and comfy poufs add handwoven texture to outdoor seating.

Cosmo High Tech Rug by CRS

A work of art almost too pretty to put down underfoot, the elements composing the surface of the rug are completely hand-made, with different dimensions and production techniques including sewing the cord in spiral patterns and shaping to form decorated circles, which are then joined together using yarn of the same color as the cord. The fibers are Aquatech or Rope yarns that are ideal for indoor or outdoor use (although not recommended for high-traffic areas.)
