The Stockholm Design Week, including the Furniture and Light Fair, took place at the beginning of this month. One of the stars of the show was Domitalia, an Italian furniture and lighting design company.
Domitalia is a Regular Feature at The Furniture and Light Fair
Domitalia has made an appearance at The Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair almost every year. Most famous for their contract furnishings, specifically for hotels and restaurants, they also design and build modern furniture and fixtures for the home.
Some of the pieces that made an appearance in Stockholm include:
The Urban Collection. This unique collection of fixtures and furnishings all have cement bases from which emerge sleek, black tables, shelves, lamps and light fixtures, creating the feel of an urban park or streetscape.
Opera chairs. Mixing modern lines with classic style, the Opera Chairs are designed for the contemporary living room. They have minimal padding and are available with fabric or leather upholstery.
Bouchon Stool. The Bouchon Stool has been a best seller in the restaurant, bar and hotel arenas and it’s no wonder why. The design for the stool is a sparkling wine bottle’s cage and cork, making quite the conversation piece.
