We’d love to say we don’t play favorites, but we’re only human. If you missed out on the Milan Fair 2014, we want to make sure you catch up on some of Casa Design’s favorite designs.
Here they are in no particular order:
Tweetie. There are unique lighting fixtures, and then there are uniquelighting fixtures. The Tweetie pendant light, designed by Jake Phipps for Casamania, falls into the latter category. The cages are made from metal rods plated with 24-karat gold. The birds are hand-decorated ceramics available in black or gold. An LED light at the bottom of the cage illuminates both the cage above and the room below.
Maserati Lounge Chair. The only thing wrong with this chair is you may never want to get back up once you’ve sat down. The Maserati Lounge Chair was designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba for Zanotta. It’s produced on a limited edition and displays the sophistication, comfort, refinement, and avant garde design the designers and the brand are known for.
IC Lights. We can’t sign-off without mentioning a lighting fixture, so we leave you with the IC Lights from Flos, designed by Michael Anastassiades. They’re available as table, floor, and suspension lamps.
These were some of our favorites from Milan Fair 2014. What are yours?
