Today we would like to share with you a project that we had the privilege of working on here in Boston – Alden Castle. The space, located in the legendary Longwood Towers, was originally known as the Veronique Ballroom. In keeping with the space’s history, Alden Castle will continue to be a premiere event venue in Boston.
Alden Castle’s exterior features a beautiful red brick Tudor facade, similar to those found in elite neighborhoods in London. Inside, there are two gorgeous spaces, The Vintage and The Modern, each complete with cocktail lounges, balconies overlooking the main rooms, and break-out areas.
The Vintage features seven beautiful Spanish chandeliers, silk champagne draperies, and over-scaled mirrors, which are a fabulous complement to the floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning architectural detailing. The Modern contains a gorgeous, ornate gold-leaf ceiling, wood casings that are almost black, and bright white walls that glisten under the light of Italian glass chandeliers. A big thanks to Interior designer Jennifer Glickman who worked on the re-design of Alden Castle and invited Casa Design to help with selecting the stunning Venetian lighting.
Alden Castle is available for private events only. Book your “Wedding of the year” at the Alden Castle for an event sure to inspire.
