We’re always honored — if not exactly surprised — when one of our pieces earns coveted status as a Boston Magazine Editors’ Pick. Getting a well-deserved turn in the spotlight this fall Molteni&C’s MISS chair in ash, which earned a place on Kara Butterfield’s roundup of “15 Jewel-Toned Furniture Pieces and Accessories.”
This curvy creation is a remake of a 1986 design by Afra and Tobia Scarpa’s, who partnered with Molteni&C on numerous distinctive pieces. And because true innovation never rests, the 2016 MISS is now better than ever thanks to a brilliant redesign by the legendary postmodern Italian designer himself.
The chair was also recently profiled in the design section of the October issue of Time magazine.
