The multi-award winning and published Hacin + Associates designed a sophisticated dining experience for the Glass House Restaurant and Bar in the innovation district of Kendall Square, Cambridge. It was featured in Interior Design magazine as one of the “6 Eye Catching Restaurants” and won this year’s IIDA New England Design Awards for Best Hospitality. The project is a reflection of the firms ability to confidentially integrate architecture, interior design and branding in a commercial space with engaging design details. Rebecca Rivers, Interior Designer on the project, likens the nostalgic color palette, to "shades of green, reminiscent of what your grandmother might have had in her kitchen”. The retro-inspired furnishings and graphic geometric patterns, influenced by the areas historic glass industry, are anything but grandma.
