The DS-600 Snake Sofa, introduced in 1972, is one of De Sede’s most iconic and groundbreaking creations. Handcrafted in Switzerland, this legendary modular seating system is made up of individual armchair elements, each built with an L-shaped rigid foam core and topped with a leather-covered cushion for comfort and durability. The units are ingeniously connected by a plug-in hinge and a supple leather-hide construction with a zipper, enabling infinite configurations—from straight lines to sweeping curves and serpentine forms.
