The Hana-arashi Baskets with Base by Paola Lenti feature a sleek gloss-varnished stainless steel support structure, complemented by a basket made from two layers of Maris fabric.

Support structure: gloss-varnished stainless steel AISI 316 (reference colours: Mano Lucida wood sample collection). Plastic spacers.

Basket: made of two layers of Maris fabric joined by welded elements.

Notes:

The two layers of Maris fabric are joined by welded elements, some of which decorated with further inlays in the same fabric.

The material originates from the recovering of offcuts from previous production processes. The combination of colours produces different chromatic results each time. Each basket is edged with a cord in Twiggy yarn, equally recovered.

This product has a delivery estimate of 18-20 weeks.

Chief Designer and Founder of Nendo. Oki Sato was born in 1977 in Canada and received M.Arch. from Waseda University in 2002. Establishing design studio “nendo” upon his graduation, Oki has been designing in various fields- from small stationary to large public architecture.

Oki Sato has been chosen by Newsweek magazine as one of “The 100 Most Respected Japanese” in 2002 and won EDIDA “Designer of the Year” in 2012. Nendo designs can be found in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, as well as Musee des Arts decoratifs and Centre Pompidou in Paris.
