Pond is a hand made rug for exterior and interior environments. The surface of the rug consists of elements produced with one- or two-colour cords in Rope yarn, shaped by hand and then machine sewn to reproduce plants and animals. The elements are then sewn together to form a large decorating panel. The floor can be seen through the gaps within and between the elements. The Pond rug is also ideal as wall decoration. The textile structure of this rug is free: an intense stepping may cause a variation of the rug’s dimension. The materials and the production technique advise against the use of Pond in high traffic areas. Composition:Rope cord, 100% polyolefin. Daily cleaning: vacuum cleaner without brushes. Periodical cleaning: washing with a solution of cold water and neutral detergent. Do not use any abrasive brushes, bleaching agents, solvents, no professional dry cleaning. Stains:pat the area with a clean cloth to prevent the stain from penetrating the fibres.
