We are fascinated with combining nature’s form with manmade geometry. InLight is a collection that is all about perception and vision. We drew on inspiration found in organic shapes, but not from a human perspective. The world is perceived in an endless number of ways with every creature looking at it differently and we turned these uncanny images into a collection of wallpapers. As designers, we seek out unprecedented ways of recreating form and shape and what better way of doing it than by adjusting the reality of human perception into say one of a ladybird?
LED wallpaper was pioneered by Meystyle in 2004. The LEDs are completely integrated into the wallpaper without adding any thickness to the material. This allows the wallpaper to be hanged like any traditional wall covering with the added requirement of an electrical socket.
