You could say Casa Design Group Founder Zhanna Drogobetsky was literally born to do this. She herself is the first to credit her parents, owners of Watertown’s Italian Interiors, with getting her started, handing her the keys to her first showroom the day after her graduation from Northeastern University. From there, however, it was Zhanna’s own passion for fashion and interior design that took over, rising to the challenge of turning a small, basement showroom into an impressive collection of fine Italian furnishings while building a network of interior designers and architects looking for high-end design solutions. In 2007, trusting her instincts and her belief that “things happen at the right time for the right reasons,” Zhanna jumped on the opportunity to better showcase the firm’s design capabilities as well as its collections, opening Casa Design Living in Boston’s Art + Design SoWa district. An instant hit with Boston’s architects and interior designers, Casa Design Outdoor, Molteni&C Dada Flagship Store, Casa Design Contract and Giorgetti all opened in succession, with more possible expansions on the horizon. Because, as Zhanna puts it herself: “Innovation gets me excited!”
