The Casa Design Showroom has added new lighting from Shakúff. The artists at Shakúff are interested in creating contemporary lighting fixtures that are also imaginative. Their goal is to push the boundaries of light, color and texture. In addition to their own designs, the Shakúff enjoys working with clients to bring their ideas to fruition.
The following are two examples of their exotic glass lighting fixture designs.
Kadur. Kadur is the Hebrew word for “ball.” Kadur is a most ethereal ball. The inner glass globe is drizzled with metallic threads, available in gold or white. The small bulbs (LED available upon request) give the appearance of a lit candle flame. Kadur can be used as a single pendant or arranged to create a chandelier. They can also be arranged at varying heights to create a canopy.
Mod. This blown glass orb has a series of perforated orbs that create a peek-a-boo effect with the light. The glass is available in a wide range of colors, including antique bronze, black, translucent and white. They are designed to be hung as a canopy and can be arranged at the same level or at varying heights.
