The 1950 collection combines the art of blacksmithing with the technology of the twenty-first century. Formerly made of heavy iron, today's parts are ingeniously made of aluminum, a much lighter and weather-resistant material. Like any good design, their aesthetics respond to their structure. An evocation of triangulated special constructions from which engineers and architects developed most of their civil works in the second half of the nineteenth century.
