The Arianna Armchair combines the lightness of a floating shell with the strength of a solid ashwood frame. Its wing-inspired armrests and partially concealed fixing create an elegant suspended appearance, while refined tailoring and tone-on-tone stitching highlight Frigerio's craftsmanship in both fabric and leather upholstery.

Body: Plywood padded with non-deformable polyurethane foam.
Structure: Solid ashwood frame available in Tobacco, Wengé, Greige, Sand, or Liquorice finishes.
Upholstery: Fixed fabric or leather cover.

Passion, perseverance, and enthusiasm are the hallmarks of Italian maker Frigerio. Born as a small workshop specializing in upholstery production, their comprehensive collection of sofas, seating, beds, and cabinets are characterized by high quality materials including wood, fabrics, hide, and leather, enhanced with exquisite tailoring and decorative flourishes.

He obtained his diploma at Istituto d’Arte in Cantu’ (CO), and he soon started his experience as a designer with Giorgetti SpA in 1968, where lately he assumed the direction of the Research Center. In 2006, he left Giorgetti to start his career as a designer. At present, he is the art director and designer of Penta Illuminazione. In 2011, he designed a collection for Giorgetti, thus returning as a designer. Now he designs for furniture companies like Arflex, Besana, Gruppo Industriale Busnelli, Ivano Redaelli, and Mobilidea. He has also realized stands and showrooms for companies in the furniture and fashion industries. These collaborations have formed Umberto Asnago as a personality capable of facing with professionalism the rapid evolutions of the furniture market.
