Inspired by the delicate fronds of an unfurling fern leaf, the Fern Lounge Chair by Sebastian Herkner is an imposing, yet cozy lounge chair with a design language that harks back to nature. Combining Gloster’s signature plantation teak with a soft finish outdoor rope, the enveloping, woven backrest of the new Fern collection both protects and provides comfort to the occupant. Attached to a typically Scandinavian-style teak frame, which mirrors the contours of the backrest and underlines the comfort aspects, two different heights of the back give the Fern collection two distinct characters - a sumptuous, low-back lounge chair and a more intimate and protective high back wing chair.
