The Huli Lounge Chair by Frigerio, designed by Federica Biasi, combines Nordic-inspired simplicity with refined Italian craftsmanship. Its sculptural solid ashwood frame, hand-braided rope detailing, and quilted upholstered seat create a light yet distinctive silhouette that offers exceptional comfort and timeless elegance.

Structure: Solid ashwood in Tobacco, Wengé, Greige, Sand, or Liquorice finishes.
Rope: Beige or Grey braided rope.
Cushion: Quilted cushion with synthetic fiber layer.
Upholstery: Fixed fabric or leather cover.

Passion, perseverance, and enthusiasm are the hallmarks of Italian maker Frigerio. Born as a small workshop specializing in upholstery production, their comprehensive collection of sofas, seating, beds, and cabinets are characterized by high quality materials including wood, fabrics, hide, and leather, enhanced with exquisite tailoring and decorative flourishes.

Federica Biasi is an Italian designer and consultant.

Federica graduated with honours from European Institute of Design in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, she worked with design agencies based in Milan. In 2014, she moved to Amsterdam to observe and understand the nordic design and the emerging trends, focusing on the aesthetic beauty and the formal simplicity which has inspired her personal style.

In 2015, Federica set up her own design studio in Milan, working on product design, design consulting and interior design. And in 2017, she became art director of the italian company Mingardo.

Meanwhile, Federica collaborates as creative consultant with design companies such as Fratelli Guzzini, focusing on worldwide trends research and forecasting: color, material & finishing. She carefully analyzes the know-how of every company she’s collaborating with. Federica develops ceramic tableware and textile products, strongly believing in the strength of the handcrafted products.

Since 2016, she has taught and lecturing in IED Milano and Marangoni in product design courses and Masters. In January 2018, Federica Biasi was nominated by the master Andrea Branzi, and awarded in Paris, during Maison&Objet as one of 6 Italian Rising Talent.

She designs for companies such Gallotti&Radice, CC-tapis, Mingardo, Potocco, Nason Moretti, My home, Ditre, and art direction and consults brands such as Mingardo, Fratelli Guzzini, Manerba.
