For more than 80 years, Molteni&C has defined the concept of fine Italian craftsmanship. Incorporating its artisan traditions with innovative technology, Molteni&C furnishings are renowned not only for their beauty but also their technical and functional quality, often invisible but unfailingly impressive.

Born in Cremona in 1960, Ferruccio Laviani graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic where he attended the courses of Achille Castiglioni and Marco Zanuso. In 1991 he opened his own studio in Milan, dealing with interior design, art direction and graphics. During his professional career Laviani designed furniture and lamps for the most prestigious design companies, managing projects of private and public spaces, and taking care of exhibitions and installations for the furniture and fashion sector. Ferruccio Laviani began his collaboration with Frigerio in 2022 with the aim of realizing furniture with a recognizable design whose personality resides in the finely crafted details thanks to the company's production capacity.
