The Pigreco Chair captures the essence of balanced design, blending solids and voids, straight and curved lines, to create a harmonious form. Every element is thoughtfully designed to impart a “sense of space” to this traditionally static piece. The triangular seat introduces a dynamic element, with two rear legs that converge for stability while preserving an overall sense of lightness. Originally designed by Tobia Scarpa as his graduation project at the University of Venice in 1959, this re-edition by Tacchini is crafted in Canaletto walnut, walnut-stained ash, and charcoal grey ash, with options for leather or fabric upholstery, celebrating the legacy of the iconic architect.
