Its compact size makes it perfect for both contract environments and smaller outdoor spaces, such as terraces and balconies in moderate-sized homes. This bar table sits between a traditional table and a stand-up counter, featuring a geometric, skeletal frame that offers a sense of transparency and elegance. Under the artistic direction of Rodolfo Dordoni, RODA pioneered the innovative concept of “IN and OUT,” creating versatile and elegant outdoor furniture collections that “go beyond the borders of the house” and allow indoor and outdoor to mingle with “a harmonic language, in a spatial and conceptual continuum.”

Rodolfo Dordoni was born in 1954 in Milan, where he obtained his architecture degree at the Politecnico in 1979 and where he still works as a designer. He runs two creative studios: his design office, Rodolfo Dordoni, and Dordoni Architetti, founded with Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, devoted to residential, industrial and commercial spaces, shops, showrooms, hotels, restaurants, yachts, and exhibition stands in Italy and abroad. Dordoni's projects are characterized by a rational approach, essential forms, rigorous geometries, attention to detail and overall high quality. During his university years, he developed a friendship with fellow student Giulio Cappellini. This bond translated into a long-standing professional association as artistic director of the Cappellini brand for over ten years.

In the furniture and lighting sector, he was creative director of Artemide (for the glass collection), FontanaArte (for the furniture collection), Foscarini (with the Lumiere and Buds lamps) and Roda (the Piper furniture family, the Spool sofas and the Mamba garden sofas). He boasts numerous high-profile collaborations, including Very Wood, MDF Italia, and Coedition. His numerous awards and recognitions include the 2011 National Award for Innovation (Dordoni Architetti), the Honourable Mention at the XXIII Compasso d'Oro in 2014 and, more recently, the Archiproducts Design Awards.
