Island is a collection made up of three poufs with organic forms that evoke the coastline lapped by the sea. This imagery is felt throughout the entire design, conjuring the enveloping movement of the tide which smoothes and shapes the shore.  For this reason, the volumes are perceived differently in accordance with the perspective in the space at which they are observed. The pairing of different fabrics at the base and the top, visually elevate the seat from the ground making it seem like it’s floating in the space.
