This efficient piece of engineering makes the multi-functional chair well suited to stacking, but visually effortless too. Upon’s form-pressed veneer, the backrest tapers out to just a 6mm edge, combining minimal looks, comfort, and strength.
Together, Zilio A&C and Sylvain Willenz have created a pure and expressive design that can adapt to all settings: the home, office, or café. Upon can be adapted to have an upholstered seat for further comfort, and an armchair version is in development.
